Your committee has put together a veritable feast of club trips for 2015.  This year trips will be to Girraween, Coffs Harbour, Ngungun, Frog Buttress, Brooyar, Red Cliffs/Goanna Point, Urbenville, Nowra, Mt Arapiles and the Blue Mountains.

Upcoming Events

The BRC event lookahead window to the left displays climbing trips planned by subscribers, (excluding regular Tuesday night climbing at Kangaroo Point), and upcoming BRC social events.

Trips and Weekends
Throughout the climbing season, our subscribers arrange a regular series of weekend/day trips to a variety of climbing areas around SEQ. These tend to be social affairs and are a great opportunity for newcomers to climb with a range of individuals and improve their skills with more experienced climbers. You can see some trip reports here.

Weekly Climbing at Kangaroo Point

Many of our subscribers climb every Tuesday night at Kangaroo Point from about 5.00pm - look for our banner at the base of the cliff and the orange BRC witches hats and flags at the top and bottom of climbs.
There are generally several top ropes set-up and if you contact a member of the committee in advance, new
subscribers can usually find a rope suitable for their ability. When the weather is wet (or threatening see the BOM radar), a group usually goes indoors to Urbanclimb in West End or Rocksports in the Valley.

Free Cheesy Tuesday or Sausage Sizzle at Kangaroo Point

During the year we have free sausage sizzles for our subscribers. Notification of these dates are sent out to subscribers during the week prior to the event. This allows subscribers to socialise with the other climbers following climbing.

Social events

The two major social events of the year are the dinner (usually July/August) and the Christmas Party in association with the AGM. These are subsidised to subscribers.
